Group Classes
Join us at Manchester School of Jewellery for a class of designing and crafting suitable for both beginner and anyone 10 years old upwards (under sixteens must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).
All group classes are hosted in Space 2 at Manchester Craft and Design 17 Oak St, Manchester, M45JD and available to book online through BookWhen.

We welcome students aged 10 and over to our classes, we just ask those under 16 are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
All our classes are held in the beautiful Manchester Craft and Design centre found on Oak St in the heart of the cities northern quarter.
Our tutors all have over a decade experience working in the jewellery industry and teaching along with BA hons qualifications. You are in good, experienced hands at our jewellery school.
Make a ring in a day
Join jewellery school for a creative and fun filled day of ring making. The course, our most popular, covers a multitude of skills; shaping, stamping, hammering, texturing and silver soldering. Our tutors, will also teach students how to saw, file, size rings and finish silver work. As within all our class the pace is slow and relaxes with students having the opportunity to practice will begin using copper, with demonstrations given for the different skills, followed by time to apply these skills. Once the skills are refined, each person will make a sterling silver ring, they have designed and personalized from start to finish, and the ring will be theirs to take away.
Make a Pair of Hoop Earrings
Join Jewellery School for a fun packed brand new 3 hour mini course covering the basic jewellery making techniques, participants will be taught a variety of different jewellery skills (hammering, texturing, forming, twisting, stamping, soldering, finishing). Each participant will have completed a pair of silver hoop earring by the end of the session.
Make a Bangle in a Day
The course covers a multitude of skills; shaping, hammering, texturing and silver soldering. We will also teach students how to saw, file, shape bangles and finish silver work. Practice will begin using copper, with demonstrations given for the different skills, followed by time to apply these skills. Once the skills are refined, each person will make a sterling silver bangle from start to finish, and the bangle will be theirs to take away. There will be a choice of bangle wire shapes available to suit all.
Necklace and Earrings Class
Join jewellery school for a creative and fun filled day of necklace and earring making session. The course, covers a multitude of skills; shaping, stamping, hammering, texturing and silver soldering. Our tutors, will also teach students how to dome, measure chains, make earring hooks and finish silver work. As within all our class the pace is slow and relaxes with students having the opportunity to practice will begin using copper, with demonstrations given for the different skills, followed by time to apply these skills. Once the skills are refined, each person will make a necklace and pair of earrings, they have designed and personalized from start to finish, and the set will be theirs to take away.
Silver Taster Session
Join us for a creative and fun filled 3-hour taster session for an introduction to jewellery making. The course, covers a multitude of skills; shaping, stamping, hammering, texturing and silver soldering. Our tutors, will also teach students how to saw, file, shaped and finish silver work. As within all our classes students have the opportunity to practice will begin using copper, with demonstrations given for the different skills, followed by time to apply these skills. Once the skills are refined, each person will make either a sterling silver pendant, pin or pair of stud earrings they have designed and personalized from start to finish, and take away with them.
