Manchester School of Jewellery Terms and Conditions

By booking a class with Manchester School of Jewellery you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions and Cancellation policy as outlined below.

Course descriptions on the website explain the content of the classes and any additional costs you may incur when attending. It is your responsibility to ensure you book on a relevant class and fully understand what is involved.

We do not have disability facilities at our current premises and classes are held in a basement room accessed by a staircase. Students with disabilities should enquire about the suitability of classes prior to booking. If you book a class and you know you have mobility or other issues which may impact on your ability to attend, and then subsequently cancel, no refund can be given. Please ensure you fully understand our accessibility limitations before you book.

No smoking is permitted on the premises. We reserve the right to exclude any student we feel may be a danger to themselves or other students. If you turn up and we consider you to be incapable of working safely due to alcohol, drugs or ill-health you will be excluded from the class and no refund will be given.

Health and Safety

Suitable clothing should be worn that does not hang loose or wearing of flammable items. Long hair must be tied back. Shoes must fully cover the feet, no flip flops or open toe footwear will be allowed as sharp and heavy tools will be in use. Additional protective clothing will be provided where necessary.

Nail varnish/polish or artificial nails could get damaged or cause a serious danger whilst using a gas torch.

You may be refused class entry and no refund if you do not adhere to Health & Safety requirements. Failure to adhere may result in loss of class place and no refund or alternative class will be offered.

Our classes are kept small to maximise your learning and enjoyment, and therefore places are in demand. Therefore we regret we cannot offer refunds on any of our classes.

If you secure your place on a class by paying a deposit, the deposit is non refundable.

Students booking classes using pre-paid vouchers who do not attend their specified course will be allowed one further opportunity to book.

If a class has to be cancelled by Manchester School of Jewellery due to unforeseen circumstances e.g. tutor illness, the option to book an alternative class date will be offered.

We will endeavour to contact students at the earliest possible opportunity of any class cancellations but please check our website and Facebook page regularly for notifications.

Manchester School of Jewellery will not be responsibile for pre-paid travel/accommodation costs or any other paid or unpaid arrangements.

Please contact us via email on courses@manchesterschoolofjewellery.co.uk or our Facebook page if you cannot attend or are going to be late.

We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions at any time and will post any immediate changes on our website and social media sites. Your use and booking will indicate your acceptance of our terms and conditions.
